ensemble a was born out of enthusiasm and the simple desire of a group of professional musicians to present high-quality, original concerts.
The musicians have earned their reputation and gained experience in renowned orchestras such as the Beethoven Academy, deFilharmonie, Brussels Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Belgium, I Fiamminghi, Collegium Instrumentale Brugense, Musica Antiqua Köln, and others.
Most of the members play both historical and modern instruments.
Artistic direction is in the hands of concertmaster Hans Cammaert.
