Arnaud Van de Cauter

Arnaud Van de Cauter is a professor of organ at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Liège and of physical education at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Mons. Regularly invited to perform in Belgium and abroad, he is the artistic director of the Voce et Organo Festival (Notre-Dame de la Chapelle church – Brussels) and has made several recordings acclaimed by the international press.

After training in somatic education with Jean Grauwels (Feldenkrais practitioner and osteopath in Waterloo), he trained in Somatic Experiencing® with Peter Levine (Polarity Education Center Zurich) and then in NARM® with Mikael Mokrus. On this basis, he created the Intégration Corporelle à l’Instrument (I.C.I) (Body Integration to the Instrument) a sensitive approach to artistic practice based on the organic development of the relationship between body and instrument. He is regularly invited to give courses, workshops, and training in this field, aimed at musicians of all disciplines (www.echo-art.be). Moreover, he is an assistant to Dr. M. Schitecatte, trainer and director of professional SE® trainings in France.

As a concert artist, he regularly performs in Belgium and abroad (BOZAR, Festivals of Wallonia, ‘Festival de l’Ete Mosan’, Toulouse-les-Orgues, etc.).
